Like the interior of most cars these days, the GR86/BRZ has a lot of plastic bits scattered throughout. One of the pieces that can see a lot of abuse are the door sills. It’s very easy when getting in and out of the car to scrape them with the bottom of your shoes. Unfortunately, the plastic is very easy to scratch and not easily fixed so after some time you can end up with door sills that beat up. Installing the Driven Media Carbon Fiber Outer Door Sills not only protects your OEM plastics, but also adds an eye catching accent that you’ll see when you get in and out of your car.
Prior to installing the carbon fiber cover, make sure the surface is thoroughly cleaned and dry.
Carefully peel the backing off of the double sided tape on the back of the cover.
Place the cover into position and press it onto the OEM unit applying constant pressure for at least 30 seconds.
The recommended ambient temperature for install is 70°F - 90°F to ensure proper adhesion.
Allow the adhesive to cure for 48hrs before washing the car.
