    GR Supra Drivetrain FAQs

Only manual GR Supras have a clutch. Toyota added a six speed manual transmission for the 2023 model year on 3.0 models, while 2020 to 2022 3.0 models and all 2.0 models use an eight speed automatic, which remains available on later 3.0 models. If your manual car slips under load or will see more torque than stock, we carry upgraded clutch kits from ACT, XClutch, and Clutch Masters.

For automatic cars, we carry Pure Drivetrain Solutions 8HP51 Transmission Hard Parts Kits and the CSF GR Supra B58 Transmission Cooler.

Stiffer mounts and bushings reduce GR Supra driveline movement under hard launches and track use. We carry Torque Solution Billet Differential Brace, Billet Transmission Mount and Billet Driveshaft Flex Disc, and the Verus Engineering Rear Differential Cooling Plate for cars that see sustained track sessions. For automatic cars, we also carry Pure Drivetrain Solutions 8HP51 Transmission Hard Parts Kits.

Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, a dealer cannot void an entire factory warranty simply because aftermarket parts are installed. A specific claim can still be denied if a modification is determined to have caused the failure, and ECU changes are detectable. Warranty decisions are made by Toyota and its dealers, not by LIMIT+1.

Every product page lists the model years, trims, and drivetrain configurations the part is built for, and every collection on this site is organized by platform. If your vehicle carries other modifications, or you are between model years or trims, send us your year, trim, and current setup before ordering and we will confirm fitment.

Toyota GR Supra Drivetrain Parts and Upgrades

This collection covers GR Supra clutches, flywheels, mounts, differentials, and the drivetrain hardware that keeps B58 torque going where you put it. Both the ZF eight speed automatic cars and the six speed manual cars introduced in 2023 are supported.

Manual cars are the ones that need attention first. The factory clutch holds stock output reliably, but a tune and supporting bolt-ons push torque past what it was designed for, and ACT, XClutch, and Clutch Masters build GR Supra clutch kits that hold significantly more while keeping usable street manners. Automatic cars benefit more from transmission cooling, fluid, and calibration than from mechanical upgrades. Mounts and bushings are the cheapest drivetrain change with the biggest effect on shift feel and response on either transmission.
