High temperature brake fluid is the first fluid upgrade for either car once it sees track time, since the factory fluid is rated for street use. Motul 600/660, Endless RF650, or Project Mu G-Four 335 brake fluid are quality choices. Quality engine oil such as Liqui Moly Special Tec or Motul Eco-Lite Gen3 at the correct viscosity and fresh Red Line differential fluid round out the baseline for a car that is driven hard.

Track use shortens every interval. Brake fluid should be flushed at least once a season and sooner if the pedal starts to feel long, engine oil is commonly changed every two to three track weekends on a track driven car, and differential fluid should be checked annually. Street driven cars can generally follow the factory maintenance schedule.

Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, a dealer cannot void an entire factory warranty simply because aftermarket parts are installed. A specific claim can still be denied if a modification is determined to have caused the failure, and ECU changes are detectable.
