For the 2025+ 4Runner, we carry PowerStop brake pads in two compounds, front and rear, each with hardware included. The PowerStop Z36 Truck & Tow pads are designed for towing and hauling, while the PowerStop Z17 Evo Ceramic pads are a ceramic replacement pad.

If your 4Runner carries added weight from armor, a roof rack or larger tires, or tows regularly, the Z36 Truck & Tow compound is designed for that kind of use. Each compound is sold separately for the front and rear axle.

Factory Toyota rotors can be reused at a pad change as long as they are within Toyota's minimum thickness specification and free of cracks, heavy scoring or vibration. If they are worn past that point, replace them in pairs across the axle.
