SUSPENSION
Tundra Suspension FAQs
Start from what your truck has. Toyota's 2025 specifications list the Tundra TRD Pro with 2.5-inch FOX internal bypass shocks and a 1.1-inch front lift, and Toyota has announced FOX enhanced Q3S shocks developed for the Tundra for the 2027 TRD Pro and an Old Man Emu upgraded suspension for the new 2027 Trailhunter package. Since the 2022 redesign, the Tundra has used a multi-link rear suspension with coil springs, with rear air suspension available on certain grades.
For other grades, the suspension on our Tundra list includes lift kits and coilovers from ICON, Bilstein, Fox, King Shocks, ARB Old Man Emu, Fabtech, Eibach and Tuff Country, plus Westcott Designs preload collar lift kits. Upper control arms from Camburg, ICON and Fox are often added with larger lifts to help keep alignment and ball joint angles in range.
Tire clearance on a lifted Tundra depends on lift height, wheel offset and backspacing, and whether you are willing to trim, so there is no single tire size that fits every build. Many lift kits and coilovers on our list state their lift range in the title, and the Westcott Designs Tire Clearance Kit is available for trucks that need more room.
Larger tires add weight and change effective gearing, so factor that in if the truck also tows.
Every product page lists the model years, trims, and drivetrain configurations the part is built for, and every collection on this site is organized by platform. If your vehicle carries other modifications, or you are between model years or trims, send us your year, trim, and current setup before ordering and we will confirm fitment.
Orders are processed within one to five business days, excluding weekends, holidays, pre-orders, and backordered items. Orders over $199 ship free within the continental United States by ground service, excluding freight items. We also ship to Canada, Australia, and non-continental US destinations, where import duties and taxes are the customer's responsibility.
Toyota Tundra Suspension and Lift Kits
This collection covers Tundra lift and leveling kits, coilovers and shocks from ICON and others, upper control arms, rear springs, and the alignment and supporting hardware that makes a modified Tundra drive properly under load.
Spring and damper selection on a Tundra should follow how the truck is actually used, not how it looks in the driveway. A leveling kit and quality shocks suit a daily driven or lightly loaded truck. Trucks that tow regularly or carry a camper need rear spring rates and damping matched to that weight, otherwise the truck squats, the headlights point at the trees, and the ride deteriorates. Trucks built for high speed desert use need shocks that can handle sustained heat. Upper control arms restore correct geometry on lifted trucks and should be planned from the start.
