Suspension for the Lexus GX 550 is built around how far you want to lift and how hard the vehicle will be used. ICON offers complete suspension systems in Stage 1, 2, 3, 5 and 10 with 1.25 to 3 inches of lift, along with individual coilovers, rear shocks and rear springs, while Westcott Designs offers a preload collar lift kit.

For control arms and links, we carry upper control arms from ICON, Camburg and Bilstein, rear links and trailing arms from ICON, Camburg and Whiteline, and a Whiteline rear panhard rod. Timbren offers bump stops and suspension enhancement systems. Overtrail and Overtrail+ grades come with E-KDSS, so confirm the parts you choose are compatible with your grade.

For the 2024 model year, Lexus lists 18-inch wheels with 33-inch all-terrain tires on the GX 550 Overtrail and Overtrail+, 20-inch wheels on Premium and Premium+, and 22-inch wheels on Luxury and Luxury+. Starting with the 2025 model year, Overtrail and Overtrail+ also get a standard one-inch suspension lift.

The tire size you can clear after a lift kit depends on the lift height, wheel offset and whether any trimming is done, so we do not quote one size for every build. Tell us your grade, lift and wheel choice and we can help you narrow it down.
