Land Cruiser Exterior FAQs
Underbody protection and rock sliders are a practical starting point. For skid plates we carry the DV8 front and belly skid plates and Rival 4x4 skid plates for the engine, transmission and catalytic converter, transfer case, fuel tank and lower control arms, and for sliders the Westcott Designs Rock Sliders and aFe Terra Guard Off-Road Slider.
The 2024 First Edition came with a roof rack, rock rails and a front skid plate from the factory, so check what your Land Cruiser already has. From there, front protection such as the ARB Summit MKII COMBAR or DV8 Centric Front Bumper and a roof rack from ARB, DV8, KC HiLiTES or Westcott Designs are options to consider next.
The rock sliders and skid plates in this collection are listed for the 2024 and newer Land Cruiser, and each product page lists what is included and what the installation requires. If you are unsure whether a part needs drilling or trimming on your vehicle, contact us before ordering.
The 2024 First Edition came with rock rails and a front skid plate from the factory, and Toyota's 2024 launch materials note that customers can add rock rails and skid plates, so check what your vehicle already has before ordering duplicate coverage.
Every product page lists the model years, trims, and drivetrain configurations the part is built for, and every collection on this site is organized by platform. If your vehicle carries other modifications, or you are between model years or trims, send us your year, trim, and current setup before ordering and we will confirm fitment.

Toyota Land Cruiser Exterior Parts, Armor, and Protection
This collection covers Land Cruiser bumpers, skid plates, rock sliders, roof racks, ladders, recovery equipment, and auxiliary lighting for the 250 series and earlier platforms.
Underbody protection comes first on any Land Cruiser that leaves pavement, since the factory skid plates cover less than the vehicle's reputation suggests. Rock sliders protect the rocker panels and give you a jacking point on uneven terrain. Roof racks are where overland builds diverge most, and weight up high changes handling noticeably on a tall vehicle, so plan the complete load before buying. Recovery points and auxiliary lighting are the two additions that matter most for anyone traveling remote routes alone.
