Sequoia Brakes FAQs
On a Sequoia that tows or carries a full cabin, choose brake pads for how the vehicle is actually used rather than for peak bite. For towing and heavy loads, we carry PowerStop Z36 Truck & Tow brake pads for the front and rear, plus a front Z36 Truck & Tow brake kit.
We also carry PowerStop Z17 Evo Ceramic and Z23 Evo Sport pads, EBC Extra Duty, Greenstuff, Yellowstuff and Bluestuff pads, and Carbotech 1521 pads for the 2023+ Sequoia. Not every pad is offered for both axles, so check the product page for front or rear fitment before you order.
If your Sequoia is mostly driven on the street and the factory rotors are in good condition, there is no need to replace them before they wear out. When it is time for rotors, or if you tow and want a different design, we carry EBC RK Premium, GD Sport and USR Slotted rotors for the 2023+ Sequoia. Check each product page for front or rear fitment.
For a single order, the PowerStop Z17, Z23 and Z36 front brake kits or the EBC Yellowstuff pad and USR Slotted rotor kits pair rotors with matching pads. Install fresh pads with new rotors and follow the manufacturer's bedding procedure.
Every product page lists the model years, trims, and drivetrain configurations the part is built for, and every collection on this site is organized by platform. If your vehicle carries other modifications, or you are between model years or trims, send us your year, trim, and current setup before ordering and we will confirm fitment.
Orders are processed within one to five business days, excluding weekends, holidays, pre-orders, and backordered items. Orders over $199 ship free within the continental United States by ground service, excluding freight items. We also ship to Canada, Australia, and non-continental US destinations, where import duties and taxes are the customer's responsibility.
Toyota Sequoia Brakes, Pads, and Rotors
This collection covers Sequoia brake pads and rotors for the current generation.
A Sequoia is heavy before you add anything to it, and a full load of passengers, gear, and a trailer takes it well past what casual driving demands. The place owners notice the difference is on a long descent, where the pedal goes soft and travel increases. An upgraded pad compound and fresh high temperature brake fluid resolve most of that without changing hardware. For anyone towing regularly, a higher temperature pad is the single most valuable brake upgrade available.
