SUSPENSION
Tacoma Suspension FAQs
The best Tacoma suspension depends on grade and goals, and Toyota already fits capable shocks to off-road grades: monotube reservoir shocks on TRD Off-Road, FOX QS3 adjustable shocks on TRD Pro and Old Man Emu shocks by ARB on Trailhunter. For more lift and control, we list ICON 2.5 coilover kits, Fox 2.0 and 2.5 series shocks and ARB/OME BP-51 kits, with lift and leveling options from Eibach, Westcott Designs, Fabtech, Tuff Country and aFe.
Once ride height increases, aftermarket upper control arms from ICON, Camburg, ARB, Bilstein, Fabtech, Superpro and aFe help restore alignment range. Many kits are specific to grade or rear suspension type, so check the fitment notes on each product page.
From the factory, Toyota fits the 2026 Tacoma TRD Pro and Trailhunter, and the TRD Off-Road with i-FORCE MAX, with 33-inch tires on 18-inch wheels. The tire size a lifted Tacoma clears depends on lift height, wheel width and offset, and your grade, since at launch Toyota kept leaf springs on the SR, SR5 XtraCab and TRD PreRunner and offered a coil spring multi-link rear on other grades.
Use the tire size guidance from the lift or coilover manufacturer on the product page as your starting point, and contact us with your planned wheel and tire before ordering if you want a second check.
Every product page lists the model years, trims, and drivetrain configurations the part is built for, and every collection on this site is organized by platform. If your vehicle carries other modifications, or you are between model years or trims, send us your year, trim, and current setup before ordering and we will confirm fitment.
Orders are processed within one to five business days, excluding weekends, holidays, pre-orders, and backordered items. Orders over $199 ship free within the continental United States by ground service, excluding freight items. We also ship to Canada, Australia, and non-continental US destinations, where import duties and taxes are the customer's responsibility.
Toyota Tacoma Suspension and Lift Kits
Suspension is where most Tacoma builds start and where the money goes furthest. This collection covers Tacoma lift kits, coilovers, leaf packs, control arms, and the alignment and supporting hardware needed to make a lifted truck drive properly rather than just sit higher.
What you should run depends entirely on how the truck is used. A mild lift with quality shocks transforms ride quality on a daily driven Tacoma without hurting anything. Heavier overland builds carrying racks, drawers, and gear need spring rates matched to that added weight, or the suspension sits on the bump stops and rides worse than stock. Desert and high speed use calls for long travel or remote reservoir shocks that can handle sustained heat. Upper control arms restore correct geometry on lifted trucks and are worth budgeting for from the start.
