The larger 3" piping adds volume and tone over the smaller OEM midpipes, while the resonator produces a refined and subtle tone compared to other systems.

The PERRIN exhaust features a frequency-reducing Helmholtz resonator to combat the naturally occurring resonance the GR86/BRZ exhaust produces. This unique, engineered chamber, reduces the low RPM droning and booming without adding any restriction to exhaust gas flow.

Construction & Finish

PERRIN exhaust systems are made entirely of 304 stainless steel. Other manufacturers may use cheaper 409 stainless steel which will rust and corrode over time. Our brushed 304 stainless steel has the best corrosion resistance and appearance after use.
The PERRIN Exhaust systems come with a brushed stainless steel finish featuring TIG welding for precise, clean welds.

This test was done on a 2022 BRZ running a stock ECU tune. After swapping out the rear exhaust section, we put the car back on the dyno and found an additional 3-4 WHP and 3-4 ft-lbs. of torque.
