This joint pipe replaces the restrictive stock section located between the primary and secondary catalytic converters, a known bottleneck in the factory exhaust layout. HKS increases the pipe diameter from the standard φ54 mm to φ60 mm, resulting in reduced exhaust backpressure and enhanced flow. The smoother bends and improved geometry further decrease restriction and support stronger mid-range torque and power delivery.
